PetroChina adheres to a corporate policy of "Energize, Harmonize, Realize," and an operational and management philosophy of "Integrity, Innovation, Performance, Harmony and Safety." Our goal is to pursue a vision of harmony in the economy, environment and society, and provide sustainable energy for the economic and social development required to create a better life for all. PetroChina has published a Sustainability Report since 2006, providing stakeholders and the public with a clear picture of our CSR commitments and performance in pursuit of scientific, safe, clean, economical and harmonious development. In July 2007, PetroChina became a participant in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), committing itself to the Ten Principles of UNGC in human rights, labor rights, environmental protection and anti-corruption. In 2011, we committed to build "a green, international and sustainable PetroChina" in the coming five years.
