In a challenging market environment, China Construction Bank Corporation (CCB) has managed to achieve its own operational and management objectives. At the same time, it has been contributing to the revival and stabilization of the Chinese economy. In the first half of 2009, CCB adopted a proactive yet prudent approach to its business: operational risk was strictly monitored, credit control measures were put in place, adjustments were made to the business structure, and customer service standards were continuously raised.
