China Minsheng Bank has attracted wide attention and garnered high acclaims for innovations and significant measures it put in place from 2006 to 2008. While other commercial banks were increasing their market shares during this period, Minsheng Bank expanded at a slower pace, focusing instead on adjusting its organization structure and transforming its business. The strategy proved effective as it better prepared the bank for challenging times ahead.
