Now, a union organizer-turned-green candidate is questioning the cost of that growth as Brazil heads into its 2010 presidential elections.rnMarina Silva, the frail-looking but tough-talking senator from the Amazonian state of Acre, will put sustainability front and center in the election debate.rnSilva, who is 51, quit in 2008 after more than five years as environment minister to President Luiz Inacio da Silva (Lula). Her support is by no stretch commanding - she is polling only between 5 percent and 8 percent. But then almost one of every three Brazilians say they don't know her - yet.
