The history of civilization is the history of invention. Invention and innovation propel the progress of science and technology and the development of social economy. The import of the compass from China to Europe in the 14th century ushered in the new era of ocean navigation. The steam engine invented in the 18th century brought about the first industrial revolution. Today, with the worldwide new technology revolution, invention and innovation have become a decisive factor in the development of an enterprise, a region and a country. Therefore, the promotion of inventive and innovative activities becomes more and more important.
