CONTROP Precision Technologies Ltd is presenting its recent technological breakthrough -the TORNADO passive lightweight fast scanning InfraRed camera for Air Defense applications, at the show. Providing a 360° panoramic image, the TORNADO uses unique software algorithms which automatically detect and track any flying aircraft along its path - Small UAVs , UAVs, small VTOLs, helicopters, fixed-wing A/C etc., even at a very low flight level of only a few feet above ground level, and at various flight speeds. Furthermore, the TORNADO can detect very small targets hundreds of metres away and large targets even tens of kilometres away.
