IRKUT Corporation, the Russian aircraft manufacturer, has launched supplies of Yak-130 combat trainers to the Air Force of Bangladesh. A first batch of six trainers were delivered to the Dacca's airport with An-124 transport aircraft. The contract on delivery to Bangladesh of 16 Yak-130 combat trainers was signed in 2013 within a one US$ billion credit line, provided by Moscow for acquisition of military hardware. Bangladesh had become a third foreign buyer of Yak-130 a/c. The first export batch of 16 Yak's was shipped in 2011 to Algeria.
