It is quite rare that one gets a chance to see the F-22 Raptor and F-35A (Lighting II) up close and personal and lined up next to each other at any airshow outside the US. Naturally the F-35 (Joint Strike Fighter) has made its present felt in the other shows in the recent past due to the nature of its development with the partnering countries, but even in those scenarios it's much of a far cry to get close to aircraft. Even the previous edition of this show (ADEX 2015), which probably might have been one of the first few shows outside of the US that displayed two F-22 Raptor aircraft featured them in a secluded and heavily guarded corner of the show, making them virtually impossible to access.
