ATR which is 50% owned by Airbus, attended the Seoul International Aerospace & Defence Exhibition 2017 (Seoul ADEX 2017), between the 17th and 22nd of October. ATR manufacturing base is in Toulouse and marketing for the Asean region is in Singapore. Asean region does not include India, China, Bangladesh and Japan. The airshow provided ATR with an excellent opportunity to show the suitability of the ATR -600 series aircraft for the development and promotion of regional routes in Korea. ATR has been particularly successful in the region in recent years, including in Japan and in China. ATR has accumulated sales for some 550 aircraft in Asia Pacific and 400 aircraft in the region. Seoul ADEX 2017 allowed ATR to highlight its latest products and innovations to airlines, operators and the general public.
