Air India has revised passengers free baggage allowance for travel on domestic sectors with effect from 13th May 2013. The free baggage allowance for travel in the top four fare levels of economy class will be 20 Kgs and for all other fare levels it will be 15 Kgs. However, the free baggage allowance for a Business Class passenger remains unchanged at 35 Kgs. The revised baggage allowance will be applicable on tickets issued on or after 13th May 2013. Tickets issued prior to this date will be honoured as per the earlier baggage allowance applicable.
