摘要

Although its history dates back to 1 774, Mazagaon Dock was started in 1960 as a government enterprise and has completed 50 checkered years of ship building. The Indian Navy is its main customer underling the critical role the company plays in the growth of the naval forces. Besides war ships and submarines, the company also builds merchant ships up to 30,000 DWT, fabrication of well head platforms, process and production platforms and jack-up rigs.
