Bell Helicopter has played a pioneering role in supporting the development and expansion of helicopter activities in India. In 1958, Bell Helicopter sold the first Model 47 into the Indian market and circa 2008, Bell delivered its 100th helicopter to India. Today, more than 110 Bells are flying in India. Although much has changed over the years, one thing has remained constant. "Our focus is to support existing customers," says Max Wiley, Vice-President, Asia Pacific Sales. Our basic strategy is to keep customers flying. Bell's commitment to the Indian market is to support customers who use Bell helicopters.
