German airline Lufthansa recently said that it carried 5.75 million passengers in July, up 10.3 per cent from a year earlier as clouds began to lift over the sector.rnFor the entire Lufthansa group, which includes Austrian Airlines, BMI and Swiss, traffic numbers jumped 21 per cent to 8.8 million passengers, arnstatement said.rnResults from Austrian Airlines and BMI were not included in the previous year's figure and when adjusted accordingly, group passenger numbers gained 5.4 percent.
