The Education section of the second Aggl conference will contain a significant focus on dredging. The Mining, Reclamation and Dredging committee met by conference call on June 30 and discussed potential topics for the 2010 conference, which will be held in Cincinnati on February 15 through 18 at the Duke Energy Convention Center. Fifteen topics were sug-rngested, both in the conference call and in succeeding days, of which six were on dredging, reported Charles Johnson, committee member.rnSome specific topic and presenter suggestions were: Selection of Excavation and Support Equipment for Sand and Aggregates Operations, presenters: two producers; Methods of Underwater Excavation, by Chris Nelson and Damon Gonzales; Dealing with Clay in Dredge Deposits, author to be determined; Matching Production Requirements with the Deposit, Dredge and Plant, presenter to be determined; Mechanical Dredge Case Study, Presenter tentatively Watson Gravel.
