Fabric Barriness in 100% viscose is one of the biggest problems confronting textile technicians worldwide. The problem is most severely noted in knitted fabrics. This study deals with the root cause of the barriness issue in 100% viscose knit fabrics. It was found that barriness in 100% viscose knit fabric occurred mainly due to the mix up of viscose yarn lots, count and TPI variation in the same viscose yarn lot.
