Thies Textilmaschinen is to introduce its iMaster H_2O dyeing machine to the Asian market at ShanghaiTex in June. A high temperature fabric dyeing machine, the iMaster H_2O has been designed to offer low water consumption, starting at a liquor ratio of 1:3.7 for cottons, depending on the pick-up of water on the fabric. The machine is compatible with a range of fabrics, including knitted natural and synthetic fibres, as well as blends with viscose. Minimal rope lifting ensures improved shrinkage control and less rope curling for elastic fabrics such as cotton and Lycra, said Thies.
