China Longyuan Power Group Corp., the nation's biggest developer and operator of wind farms, said government-led efforts to boost clean energy consumption supported higher first-half profit. Net income in the six months ending June 30 rose 6 percent to 2.42 billion yuan ($363 million), according to a statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange on Tuesday. In China, "the newly installed capacity for hydro-power, wind power and solar power recorded year-on-year increase, while the newly installed capacity for coal power and nuclear power decreased year-on-year," according to the statement.
