Bankers working with National Bank of Greece on its planned sale of shares in Turkish lender finansbank will have to wait a little longer to collect their fees, following a decision to delay the sale by up to three months. The decision to hold back was blamed on market conditions, but it seems likely the timing was hostage to politics rather than valuation.
