Shell has agreed a long-term gas sales deal with CanadabasedrnAvanti Energy for offtake from the as yetrnundeveloped Colle Santo gas field onshore Italy, Avanti saidrnon December 10.rnColle Santo could hold up to 85 Bcf (2.4 Bcm) of gas –rnmaking it the largest undeveloped onshore gas field in Italyrn– and two existing wells at the field are capable ofrnproduction in excess of 20 MMcf/d of gas, Avanti said.
