摘要

The Centre for Information Literacy is very honoured to have been chosen as a partner in this UNESCO project which is a noteworthy initiative to spreading information literacy and information literacy education. Our experience has shown us that information literacy is being taken seriously in our sub-region, that people are committed to it, and that they are keen to learn as much as they can so that they may be part of the movement to spread it. Ideally, it would be helpful to have a follow-up workshop to deal with issues of implementation; this has been a request from some in the subsequent e-mail discussions.
