摘要

An exact solution of the flow due to non-co-axial rotation of a porous disk and a fluid at infinity through porous medium is obtained. It is found that the thickness of the boundary layer decreases with increase in permeability of the porous medium. The heat transfer characteristic of the flow has also been studied on taking viscous dissipation into account. It is found that the rate of heat transfer at the disk increases with increase in either suction at the disk or the permeability of the medium.
