摘要

The fourth generation wireless networks will provide variety of services and will support 2G and 3G applications. This new generation of wireless devices will require low power, low cost, multi-standard chips capable of operating in different frequency bands. It is predicted that the efficient implementation of these chips will demand for reconfigurability and combination of digital and analog circuits. This paper presents a survey of multi-band multi-standard transceivers. In this paper we report the basic architecture of radio receiver along with latest developments in the receiver design. In this we have reported that performance of various chip design to get knowledge of current status of multi-band multi-standard transceivers.
