摘要

I realized there is a calculation error in the above paper. Such error has a small but noticeable effect on the graphical presentation of experimental data, although it does not affect the main results and the general conclusions of the paper. Based on Eq. (2) below, obtained in the least favorable heating conditions (D_(max)= D_0;δ =δ_(max)), the time necessary to heat a 4 mm diameter drop up to the saturation temperature is less than 5 s, and not 5 ms as erroneously stated in the paper.
