摘要

First, we appreciate the interests and time invested by Magyari and Weidman [1 ]. We agree to their notes on the connection of the problem discussed in our paper [2] with that of Yang [3] after certain function and variable transformations. Two solution branches of both the 2-dimensional and the axi-symmetric cases were presented and discussed in our paper. The lower solution branch was first reported and was not covered in Yang's work. although these lower solution branches may not be stable, they are of theoretical interest for understanding nonlinear behavior in fluid mechanics problems. Moreover, extension of Yang's problem by considering mass transfer effects on the 2-D case for both solution branches and heat transfer was presented in a recent paper [4].
