The Sustainable Energy Fund for Africa, a multi-donor fund managed by the African Development Bank, has approved a US$ 990 000 grant to support the preparation of a solar- hydro hybrid project with a capacity of 9 MW, in Burundi. The grant will support technical feasibility, environmental and social impact assessments and financial advice for the project, the AfDB announced on 18 December.
