Swiss power producer and supplier Repower AG invites bids by 7 January 2020 for the engineering, design, fabrication and supply as well as on-site assembly and commissioning of three Pelton machine sets and a distribution pipeline for the modernization of the 27 MW Robbia hydropower plant in the southeastern canton of Grisons. Repower is seeking the supply of three 12 MW units to operate under a head of 600 m with a flow rate of 2.2 m~3/s, and a single distribution pipe with three branches to allow for flow of 6.6 mVs with pressure of 66 bar, one expansion pipe with fitting, and one emptying device and measuring socket, according to a tender notice published on the EU's procurement website, TED. The contracted work is expected to be completed within 56 months of contract signing.
