Flovel of India has been awarded a contract to equip the 54 MW Nam Cum 4 hydro plant in Vietnam. Under the terms of the agreement, which was announced in early November, Flovel will supply, test and commission two 27 MW vertical Francis units. The scope of supply also includes a governor, inlet valves, synchronous generator, excitation system, electrical and mechanical balance of plant, along with a SCADA system, local transportation, supervision of erection and commissioning services.
