Power Machines Fezer, an affiliate of Power Machines of Russia, has signed a contract with Recanto Energetica for the delivery of the main hydraulic equipment for the 9.5 MW Recanto small hydro plant in Brazil. Under the contract, which was announced on 6 December, Power Machines Fezer will manufacture and supply two horizontal bulb units, each with a capacity of 4.75 MW, as well as supervise their installation and train the powerplant personnel. The project, in the west central state of Mato Grosso, was one of five small hydro projects totalling 80 MW that were selected for development in an auction held in April 2016 by the state power sector regulator ANEEL.
