The Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) has awarded a contract for designing and supervising the construction of the Polihali water transfer tunnel, the largest of all the Phase II engineering design contracts to date, to the joint venture Metsi a Senqu-Khubelu Consultants (MSKC). Work on the approximately R900 million (about US$72.5 million) design and construction supervision contract began in December 2017.
