Poyry, Finland, has been awarded an engineering services assignment by the Austrian construction group Strabag for the 531 MW Alto Maipo hydro project in the Maipo river basin, central Chile. The assignment includes a review of constructability and preliminary engineering, detailed design and preparation of tender documents for hydromechanical and electrical works, as well as site supervision during installation and commissioning, Poyry announced on 6 February.
