Tangsibji Hydro Energy (THyE), a subsidiary of the Bhutan state-owned hydropower producer Druk Green Power Corp, has invited bids for the civil works and supply of generating equipment for the 118 MW Nikachhu run-of-river hydro project in central Bhutan. Bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of works, plant and services for construction of the civil structures and the supply, transportation, storage, assembly, erection, testing and commissioning of hydro-mechanical equipment (Main contract package-MP-1: Civil and hydro-mechanical works) are due by 27 February. A pre-bid meeting will be held from 20 to 22 January 2015 with a site visit to be organised by THyE.
