Power Machines of Russia has won a contract to supply the third unit for the Ust-Srednekanskaya hydro plant on the river Kolyma in the Magadan region of the Far East of Russia. The contract, which is valued at Rb 1.76 billion (US$ 28.5 million) and was awarded by RusHydro, the country's state-controlled hydropower producer, entails the manufacture, supply and supervision of installation of a turbine with capacity of 142.5 MW, a generator and an automated control system. Power Machines has said that it is scheduled to complete delivery by 2016 and to commission the unit by 2018.
