Power Machines, Russia's leading power industry equipment supplier, announced on 30 December the signing of a contract for the turnkey supply of electrical and mechanical equipment for the Kigi storage hydropower plant, being built in the eastern Turkish province of Bingol. Under the contract, which was signed with the Turkish state agency, DSI, the General Directorate for State Hydraulic Works, Power Machines will supply three 46.6 MW turbines with pre-turbine gate valves, three generators of the same capacity, all the electrical and mechanical equipment for the turbine hall as well as switchgear.
