DC Hidro Enerji, a subsidiary of the Turkish group Ronesans (Renaissance) Holding, has awarded Poeyry a contract to carry out feasibility studies and final design services for four storage projects with a combined installed capacity of around 740 MW in eastern Turkey. The contract, to be competed at the end of 2015, is to be implemented jointly with local partner Dolsar, Poeyry announced in late July. The contract includes feasibility studies, final design studies and tender specifications for civil structures (dam, power intake, power tunnel and penstocks, spillway and diversion structures) and related hydro-mechanical and electromechanical equipment.
