摘要

A ceremony was recently held in northwest Panama to hand over officially to local communities new infrastructure which has been constructed in association with the Changuinola Ⅰ dam scheme. More than 200 families in the Charco La Pava, Valle del Rey and Changuinola Arriba villages within the Palo Seco Forest Reserve in Bocas del Toro will benefit from these facilities. The structures which have been provided include churches, community houses, roads, rural electrification and docks. This investment amounts to $83 million.
