GDF Suez has announced a deal that will give Mitsui a 20 per cent stake in Jirau, under construction on the Madeira river, in the State of Rondonia, in exchange for approximately Real$ 5.7 billion. Mitsui will also provide funding and participate in the remaining implementation of the scheme, GDF Suez added.
