In mid-December twenty years ago, a small Aqua-Media team was preparing to put to press the first issue of Hydropower & Dams, which was Issue One, 1994. Over the past two decades, we estimate that we have published more than 14 million editorial words, and we hope that most of them made sense. We also hope that they contributed usefully to enhancing a worldwide exchange of knowledge and experience in the fields of hydroelectric power and dam engineering.
