Liberia Electricity Corporation has launched a civil works tender for the rehabilitation of the Mount Coffee hydropower plant on St. Paul river. Qualifying bids must be submitted by 3 January with final offers to be submitted by 17 January. The contract will include reconstruction of the main dam and rehabilitation of the powerhouse, spillway and intake as well as infrastructure and road works. This contract is expected to be implemented from May 2014 to December 2016.
