Construction work has now begun at RWE npower renewables' Wind Farm near Bradwell-on-Sea, UK. It is on the east coast of the country, on the North Sea. The 10 turbines will have a total installed generating capacity of up to 20.5 MW and are expected to be put into operation by the first half of 2013. The wind farm will produce enough electricity to meet the aver age annual demands of an estimated 12 000 homes.
