NHPC also seeks prequalification applications for three civil works contracts for the 800 MW Tawang 2 hydro project, in the Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh, which is to be equipped with four 200 MW units. Prequalification offers for con struction, within 65 months, of diversion tunnel, barrage, intake, desilting chambers, silt flushing tunnels, part of headrace tunnel (Lot 1) are due by 1 June.
