Tussa of Norway has commissioned Rainpower ASA to provide turbines and generator packs for four small hydro plants to be built in 0rsta municipality in M0re and Romsdal, Norway. The powerplants are sched- uled to be in operation from early 2012, and will produce enough electricity to supply about 2500 households. The total value of the contract is approximately NOK 40 million (US$ 6.85 million). Tussa is an energy and communications company, owned by seven municipalities in Sunnm0re, a district in western Norway. It owns and operates 15 power stations and is also engaged in energy wholesale. The company's total annual production is normally about 620 GWh.
