Sprott Power has signed a deal to sell its stake in hydro assets in British Columbia that are non-core to its portfolio, which has shifted more to wind power following a series of acquisitions. The group of hydro assets being divested by the Canadian renewable energy company include the Anyox Creek and Spuzzum Creek projects, and completion of the conditional sale was anticipated as we went to press. Anyox Creek is a 30 MW project near Granby Bay, and works involve refurbishment of a concrete arch dam and associated structures.
