American Municipal Power-Ohio (AMP-Ohio) and Voith Siemens Hydro of Germany have signed a contract for the complete supply of mechanical, electrical, automation and balance of plant equipment for a hydroelectric development which will add more than 208 MW of emission-free generating capacity to existing locks on the Ohio river. The new generation facilities are planned to go on-line in 2012.
