摘要

The effect of stress relieving annealing parameters on quasi-static compressive strength of closedcell aluminum calcium foam has been investigated. The central composite design (CCD) was used in order to obtain the optimum parameters of the stress relieving annealing process. The responses of three stress relieving parameters: heating temperature, holding time, and stabilization temperature are studied and analyzed through 20 experimental runs designed on the basis of CCD. The Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) technique is employed to study the effect of each parameter on the compressive strength property of closed-cell aluminum foam. A quasi-static compression test was conducted by universal testing machine with computer interface for data acquisition and control. The microstructural evaluation of closed-cell aluminum foam was obtained using an optical microscope (OM) and a scanning electron microscope (SEM). The specimen exhibits the highest yield strength and energy absorption value when the heating temperature, holding time, and the stabilization temperature of stress relieving parameter are set at 500°C, 60 min, and 450°C, respectively.
