摘要

This article presents a simple and efficient method for the design of a self-diplexedrnantenna based on loading asymmetric grounding-vias. The structure consists of twornantenna elements loaded with two asymmetric grounding-vias, specifying the uplinkrnand downlink operation frequencies. By choosing the appropriate positions of the tworngrounding-vias, high isolation between the two antennas can be achieved. To validaternthe feasibility of the proposed structure, two self-diplexed antennas with differentrnoperational frequencies have been fabricated and tested. Experimental results verifyrnthe multi-functionalities of the proposed compact structure in terms of high isolationrnand low cross-polarization discrimination.
