摘要

The improved nonlinear least-square method is introduced into the synthesisrnof subarrayed planar array. This method changes the traditional least-square method’srnshortness of being sensitive to its initial conditions. The whole antenna aperture is dividedrninto several subarrays and the excitation amplitude of each subarray is optimized. This canrnreduce the cost and complexity of the antenna array through common use of components orrnmass production of identical subarrays. Some numerical experiments are provided to showrnthe effectiveness of the proposed method.
