摘要

Design and development of wideband concentric half-split cylindrical dielectricrnresonator antenna (CDRA) using permittivity variation in radial direction has been proposedrnin this article. The homogeneous, two-layer and three-layer concentric half-splitrnCDRAs have been discussed separately. The effect of antenna parameters such as layerrnarrangement, geometrical parameters, and probe length are investigated. To validate thernresults, two-layer and three-layer concentric half-split CDRA have been fabricated usingrncommercially available microwave laminates. In each case, the input reflection coefficient,rnradiation pattern, and antenna gain are simulated and measured. Good agreements betweenrnsimulated and measured results have been obtained.
