Ten years after its publication I' mstill convinced about the power and research value of the ideas present in this book. In fact, the work of Llinas has not received the necessary attention while some other authors, like Damasio, have been over-quoted. The truth is that Damasio and Llinas express ideas that can be complementary, offering a strong conceptual framework for the understanding of emotions.
