CZECH infrastructure manager SZDC has published a tender to prepare documentation to apply for planning permission to construct the 23km Prague-Bechovice -Poricany section of the planned Prague - Brno high-speed line. Representatives from 11 design companies from the Czech Republic, Germany and France participated in a public preliminary market consultation in September. The contract is worth an estimated Koruna 240.5m ($US 10.6m), if all options are exercised.
