摘要

One way of achieving new material properties in textile fabrics is chemical functionalisation of their surface by means of coatings. This makes it possible to develop new property profiles for different applications in combination with the properties of the known basic polymers of the woven fabrics. Hybrid inorganic-organic polymers - "Ormocer": trade mark of the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft (Fraun-hofer Society for the Promotion of Applied Research, Munich) - are very well suited to specific func-tionalisation of different polymer surfaces.
